  It's kind of like IKEA. Only it's more like a department store IKEA style. Wife heard that they go crazy for MUJI in China. Not sure exactly why after seeing it for myself. They have some nice things. However, the prices are kind of whacky. Some things also don't have prices. 15% off? Great, what's the regular price? Friendly staff, though. We didn't end up buying anything this trip. Maybe next time as my wife heard their clothing is made with very well and is of good quality.

  MUJI Markville has just opened last week. There are loads of great items to buy for just every part of your house. But the bad thing is some items in this store are ridiculously overpriced.

  You can definitely expect quality; the prices of some objects are quite high. You can get three rolls of adhesive tape for $8, and a small humidifier for $89.

  To one of the cashier, next time when you make a mistake, always remember: take responsibility and never blame customer. I bought some shirts at night and by the time I found out they were too big for me, the store was closing. I understood that you wanted to do everything in a rush but you should have at least told me that you need my receipt to go through the computer system again. You just grabbed those I wanted to exchange and went straight to the manager to check something about "exchanging shirts at the same price" and the manager said something like "sure, no problem". You didn't say a word to me or show any gesture to lead me to the counter. I got the size I want so I thought "alright, I guess I can go". After the manager caught up with me and I got back to the store, you even lectured me about the computer system thing instead of apologizing for the back and forth. I spent $200 in the store but still was treated like air. This is awful and tomorrow, I will request return for 80% of the stuff. You should know, customer service is above all. Make me happy, I spend more. Make me unhappy, don't want to get a penny from me next time. That's it. And this is a Japanese company for god's sake!!

  It's a typical Muji, though the store is quite compact and seems "crowded" even without people. Some items are overpriced and not worth the money.
