  RIGHT NOW MY DAUGHTER ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE A MELON HEADI went there with my one year old daughter this morning and the woman who cut my daughter's was very rude she kept yanking my daughter head back so violently. She repeatedly told my child to stop crying, bossed all of us around. She did a terrible job at cutting my daughter's hair. Provided no comfort to my child as she kept pushing her violently back on the chair, no manners, it was an absolutely terrible experience. Do not recommend it, on top of that we paid 30 bucks for a haircut that was terrible, rude service and my daughter was crying her eyes out. Never bringing her back, do not recommend for any child. That woman andrea should stick to cutting older people's hair because man, she cant care for kids, has no sympathy. also, she almost poked my daughter's eye with scissors. The haircut was rushed, that woman has no patience for little ones.

  Trying to book appointment for my 2 girls this morning, was told 5:20pm is the only available time. I'm fine with it, but given store closed at 6pm today, I asked is that good enough for 2 girls? if not, then let's just book appointment for 1 kid today. Then I was told they don't know, and ask me call back after 10 minutes! Completely ridiculous!

  3. They made his hair look like absolute **** because they didn't have any special skills to keep children calm, which was the whole point of going to a kid's place to begin with. I could have gone to any stylist then. Or cut his hair myself, and with less crying.

  In hindsight I realized they really rushed through his cut, and showed no compassion for him crying and zero patience to calm a fussy baby.

  can't believe places like this could still be in business, such horrible experience as first time customer bringing my 1 and a half boy for a simple haircut. worse customer service you could never imagine even to adults. would never go back and strongly advise any parents not to get near to that place because you lovely little ones would surely hate getting a haircut from then on

  Horrible experience for my son. We went there for his first haircut, and they butchered his hair. I showed them a picture of exactly how we wanted him to look (basically it was a photo of him 5 months ago, so not a new or difficult style to do). Here's what went wrong:

  I've been with Melonhead-Markville location for 8 yrs ever since my elder one was 1 yr old... seeing its service getting nowhere yr after yr. both me and my girls so disappointment. we'll never go there again.

  I'm not sure about the reason for these horrible reviews. I got my 1-year-old sons hair cut by Nancy... We scoured the mall while we waited; they were busy but gave me a time slot for an hour later. Nancy was totally engaged with my son, played with him during the cut, gave us bubbles and other toys to keep him distracted, and cared about whether he cried or not.

  2. They basically held his head to cut his hair which made him even more upset. Even after I said we wanted to take a break, they didn't do anything different.
