  We have uneven floors in multiple places and the layout of the wood could be better. To their credit they did send the installer back once we first voiced our concern, but sending the installer back isn't going to anything. What's he going to say? "ya you're right we did a hack job..." Of course not. He said the wood was installed properly.

  They only care until you buy. Rich was a good guy to deal with and the wood we purchased arrived in good shape however our issue has to do with the install and their total disregard for our concerns.

  I inquired about liquidation centre, a forklift operator guided us there. We asked questions about different products to which he responded that he was only a forklift operator and would not be able to help. Later he left us there unattended for a long period of time.

  Where to start with this place!! They don't even deserve 1 star!! We went there to order some hardwood flooring. The sales guy asked if we minded waiting for our order until they had another order to put with it because the manufacturer would charge them $100.00 because our order was not over 400 sq ft. I asked him how long it would take. He said no longer than two weeks. After the third week my husband called to find out where our floor was. He told my husband it was still at the manufacturer. He said he would call him back. He called back and said if we wanted our order now we would have to pay the $100.00 or wait longer until they got another order. My husband told him that he wasn't paying the $100.00. He said he would call him back. He called back and I spoke to him. He said the manufacturer lowered the fee to $40.00 and I would get my floor. I told him I wasn't paying the $40.00 as it wasn't our fault that the manufacturer charged them that. He said well we aren't paying it so do you want you money back? By this point I had enough of his rudeness and said yes, refund my money and cancel the order. He said he would cancel it that day. He then called my husband's cell phone and said that they could cover the fee. My husband told him to forget it because he was so rude to me. The next day I called to speak to the manager to talk to him about what happened. He was just as rude or worse than the salesman. He wouldn't even listen to what I had to say. So I asked if my refund had been done yet and he said it will be done today and it takes a week so don't call in two days looking for your money! It took over a week to get the money back and they charged us for the floor cleaner that the salesman gave us. We did not ask for the floor cleaner. They said if I brought it back we could get the refund for that. I told them to keep the 6 bucks because I would never set foot in that store again. It was the worst customer service I have ever received anywhere!!

  They have been around since the 50s and I can't help but think that if one of their customers had an issue with their work in their 1st year of business like I have an issue today, they would have been at that customer's house within the hour to resolve until it was resolved...but not today.

  We are repeat customers. Richard helped us make the right decision (again), but this time it was for our basement flooring. He is knowledgeable, patient and answered all of our questions professionally. The most important part for us was the installation. We had some constraints on timing and we also needed someone who would help us solve a technical issue (we needed to have a seamless access to sump pump). Richard immediately told us that he knew who would fit the bill. He was bang on. Clean, fast, beautiful installation (and sump pump access problem solved) at a great price. Very grateful for a job well done. So rare these days to have this kind of service. Thanks again. Highly recommended.

  The owner refused to get involved after that. So if you're going to buy from this company, you'll likely end up with quality wood on your floor but you may want to source your own installer because if you don't you may end up in the same situation as us.
